So, my last post was quite awhile ago--the holidays, trips here and there have come and gone. New years was celebrated in La Jolla so there was a bit of a break from the cold and snow that currently has us hunkered down at home trying to stay warm.
My previous posts were helping me to move forward in finding my way, pointing me on the path of what I want to be when I grow up. Well, 25 years ago or so, there was no such thing as laptops or internet or any of the things that currently keep me busy. I am now a blogger, both on a personal and professional level. In early December I was hired by b5media a company out of Canada that hosts hundreds of bloggers from around the world and supports them with marketing tools that other bloggers dream about. If I told you how this all happened, you wouldn't believe it, just like I don't and family and friends don't. But it is real and I am The Paris Traveler, writing daily posts about travel to and within the city of Paris. Yes, I know, it is crazy and amazing at the same time. Trying to find a way to get myself back to Paris on a regular basis has finally arrived. And some would think that all this just fell into my lap but if you knew the journey I have been on since August of 2006, you would know that that is not the case.
This blog is going to remain a personal space for me as The Paris Traveler is more global in scope--sort of like People magazine or USA Today--snippets of quick information on a variety of subjects that will help one walk away with awareness of a topic but not deep, insightful commentary. I still want this to help inspire me through the process of my journey and provide me with a place to put all the things I find in my research that wouldn't or shouldn't find their way to The Paris Traveler. Perhaps between the two I will come across me.
